We're a Gen X couple who, after our children grew up and moved on to their adult lives, found ourselves missing something. We couldn't quite name it — until Miss Dana, the  "Feral Mermaid" had an idea.

Sell the house. Let go of most of what we owned. Find a piece of land, build a tiny off-grid cabin, and hit the road. Go Feral.

So that's exactly what we did.

The Art & The Adventure

Our artist, Lachlan "The Mariner", creates original art inspired by our travels — the open road, wild coastlines, and the everyday magic of life untethered. His muse is his Feral Mermaid and Sebastian the "Adventure Dog", who never misses a trip.

We use our photography, video, and art to inspire others to Go Feral — to feel the pull of the sea, the road, and the wild, and to actually answer it.
